Description
Sikorsky MH-60K Blackhawk from the US Army's 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment „Night Stalkers”.
Special operations modification first ordered in 1988. Equipped with the in-flight refueling probe, and T700-GE-701C engines (1360 kW; 1850 KM). More advanced than MH-60L, the K-model also includes an integrated avionics system (glass cockpit), AN/APQ-174B terrain-following radar (Ku band), AN/AAQ-16B long wavelength IR imaging system, AN/ALQ-136(V)1 and AN/ALQ-162(V)2 countermeasures set (CMS) with M-130 general purpose dispenser (chaff), integrated INS/GPS system, extensive communication system, color weather map generator, improved weapons capability, and various defensive systems. It includes: AGM-114 Hellfire anti-armor air-to-surface missiles, AIM-92 Stinger/ATAS short-range infrared homing surface-to-air missiles, unguided 70mm Hydra 70 rockets and guns: 7.62x51mm M134 Minigun six-barreled machine guns and 12,7mm M2 Browning heavy machine guns mounted on the door gunners position.
