Iskander-M

9K720 Iskander-M (NATO reporting name: SS-26 Stone) is a Russian, mobile theater ballistic missile system/short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) based on mobile-road transporter-erector launcher with range of 500 km. In this version two 9M723K1 ballistic missiles are guided inertial (with optical homing in terminal phase) with CEP (circular error probable) of 5–7 meters and could be armed with cluster-bomb, HE-fragmentation, themobaric or penetration charge. The TEL truck is a Belarussian 2000' 8x8 MZKT-79306 "Astrolog" (9P78E), which is a part of more vehicles system: transporter and loader vehicle 8x8 MZKT-79306 "Astrolog" (9P78E), 6x6 KaMAZ (9T250E) trucks with different functions - command and staff vehicle, information preparation station vehicle, maintenance and repair vehicle and life support vehicle. Missiles are made in Votkinsk Plant State Production Association, ground equipment in Production Association Barricades (Volgograd) and developer of the system is KB Mashinostroyeniya (Kolomna).
